this is for everyone who's been on tower of terror at any disney park....i was curious if anyone knew why the employees make you stand within the light colored squares when we're in the library watching the video before heading into the boiler room.

  1. Not sure what the colored squares are in the floor is it Disney land in cali?> here in Disney in Orlando the library is carpeted in the center wood around the edge of the library they ask you to only stand on carpeted areas.

This is so that the ride attendant can walk around the room and prevent little ones from touching anything in the room ( it is glued down anyway)

  2. Great question I wondered that myself. I kept thinking that the whole room (well at least the middle part was going to move or something!) But unfortunately from looking at the other answers it is a boring 'keep the place clean' reason. Sensible I suppose but not overly exciting.

I did however LOVE the ride. I come from Australia and had never talked to anyone who had been on it and was really surprised by the first drop. How cool. The only other ride that is better than it is the Big shot at the top of the Stratosphere Casino in Vegas. It is awesome.

  3. In disneyland I don't remember them doing that.

  4. Because you remember stuff moving up and down on the walls? the lines are just a caution for incase something goes wrong with the pictures in the room and falls off or such.

    good ride though

  5. If you didn't notice the heavy theming, its to keep rowdy guests from touching it along the walls. Last thing Disney needs is to worry about replacing books in Tower of Terror or cleaning gum off. They keep their parks so clean by putting in rules like that

  6. Just to freak you out

  7. i dont no i was just saying that a couple weeks ago too
