  1. more weight/drag = lower fuel economy...


  2. A lot more is a relative term.

    I tow anywhere between a 500 lb. jetski and a 5000 boat during the season, and fuel economy really doesn't change pulling a light load, but the big boys burn a lot more gas. Meaning up to 50% more.

    The harder the engine works, and the higher the RPM's, the more gas it will burn.

  3. not as much as towing  a caravan,not much different from towing a small trailer
