  1. hook it up and try. it is not  power but how much you will hurt your vehicle. so if you don't care about hurting your vehicle, test it out.

  2. A British caravan club gave a 1.6 car their towing car of the year award.

  3. It does not depend on the birth, its the weight that matters. You can have a light 5 birth and you can have a heavy 5 birth so the question here is, what make and model is it? Check with any caravan dealer, they will assure you. A friend of mine towed a five berth with his Zafira so you could be OK.

  4. The handbook, if youv'e got it, will state towing data. If not contact your local dealer who will tell you.

  5. Should be, often where people go wrong is improper loading of the caravan. Put heavy weights like food tins in boxes, on anti slip mats on the floor, above the axle, not in shelves until you get there.

Make sure you don't take stuff that's not needed, like why take a TV on holiday?

You may need to hold on to the revs in a gear longer, don't change up so soon.

it may struggle a little on the hills but not dangerously so.

As others say, refer to your car manual, too.

  6. As Barry B says look in the handbook
