Towing heavy load with overdrive?

i've heard do not tow your 18ft trailer with overdrive on..i don't..but if i did what could happen?

  1. Towing with the overdrive on is ok as long as doing over 50 mph,,on the interstate,,, but in city driveing you need to turn it off,,,

      what will hapen if toweing with overdrive on it will over heat the transmission and the tork conveter ,  Dont do it,,


  2. you,ll fry the transmission in it if you do,they tell you this in the owners manual ,never pull a heavy load with it in over drive,the damage you do will cost a lot to repair,good luck.

  4. You will force the trans to go back in forth from overdrive and this will damage the trans.........
