Towing with 4cylinder New Holden Rodeo?

Question

Would a brand new 4 cylinder Rodeo have trouble towing a car trailer and car? The Rodeo is manual/petrol.

Car approx: 1500kg

Unsure of trailer.

On a 13hr trip-freeway.

Yes you have problems towing that much weight with just a 4cyl vehicle.

I once had a 1980 Toyota 4x4 pickup, it had a 4 cylinder with manual trans. I towed a 16ft trailer with a small front end loader on it, so its about the same thing you want to try. you may get away with it but you stand a big chance of burning up your clutch and the engine will run hot.

NO and besides you do not want to be stuck halfway to your destination and be screwed.  you will overheat probably in about 10 miles.
