Well, I was just wondering whether or not a town that has been devastated by a volcanic eruption should be re-built or not.

What would the dangers be?

Why wouldn't it be dangerous?

(Things along those lines)

Help would be greatly appreciated.

  1. Firstly, volcanic soil makes for good soil (It's one of the reasons that Pompeii was able to grow so big), people living near volcanoes can often get better yields from their crops.

Secondly, if you're a land owner, then it is your right to rebuild exactly where you were.

Thirdly, most people displaced by volcanoes have nowhere else to go and so have no choice but to rebuild.
