Toy Dilemma with a four year old please help!!!?

Question

My four year old son have this toy truck that he got as a gift for Easter. He has since then broken the two back wheels off this truck. This truck is very loud and annoying how do I get rid of it? What should I tell him if he ask about the truck after I get rid of it?

OKAY  buy him a cool new awsome toy that he really likes let him see it and tell him to get  he has to give the toy to a charity for a lil boy who dosnt have any toys and do  just 5that then keep tellin him every time he misses it that a lil boy  who has no toys is happy because of him and tell him he was a good boy

let him know that the truck is broken he could get hurt and that if he doesn't take care of his toys this is what happens.  He will soon learn to take better care of his toys if he wants to keep them longer. (you should do this with all of his broken toys, that way he doesn't feel like you are just taking one certain toy)

OK you could tell him the truth. It is broken so he can't play with it any longer. Options: trow it away, put it up on a shelf for a while then when he attaches to a new toy have him  throw it out.

Why  not have a kiddie pool party and let him play with it in the water without batteries.  When it doesn't work anymore you can tell him it's time to say bye bye and go get a smaller quiet truck.

Tell him that  because it was so beat up you decided to take it to the toy shop and see if they could fix it. Then you can tell him (in a few days or at that same time) that the toy shop had to send it to ? (some state far away from you) to get it fixed because it was soo badly beat up. Then proceed to tell him with a straight face that unfortunately they were not able to fix it; but they are going to send you another one.

Now it's your job to make sure that the new truck that YOU buy and pretend was sent to you is much quieter and more family friendly!
