Toy Help Please?

I just bought this puffer/spike/puff ball thing for my cat. I washed it and its spikes tenticals got all sticky and wet. So how do I fix it.

( Please don't tell me to buy a new one or somthin like that )

blow dry it

let it air dry and see if it "goes back to normal".  if not, and you don't want to buy a new one, THROW IT OUT!!  Problem solved!  (Just a small attempt at humor)  I hope you can figure this out for real, without having to buy a new one.  I know how it is to have just bought something, and something happens and you feel like you have to go out and start all over again.
