Toy poodle or yorkie?

my daddy said he may buy me a dog when we move into our new house. so i am trying to pick which dog i want. tell me if i should get a toy poodle or a yorkie

As you can tell, I've my opinions about which dog I like, but that may not suit your needs. None of us can tell you what dog to get, but maybe we can help you think about what you want.

What will you do with the dog? Will it be a companion that sits on your lap, or will you give it a job to do?

Will you enter it into events, and if so what kind?

Who will care for the dog, clean it, an train it?

Will the dog spend much of it's time alone, or will it be with you often?

Different dogs have tendencies, and for you and your dog's sake you to find a dog that fits with your family.

One you define your needs, you can look at the parent clubs website and see if the dog will fit your need. Then the most fun but difficult job is looking at and playing with dogs. Focus on the adult dogs, because not matter how cute the pups are, eventually they become adults.

Toy poodles are very, very sweet and playful. They love to play and and are just sweet, fun dogs.

Yorkies are also sweet and they are SUPER hyper. They are very playful. They are more high maintenance than toy poodles.

They are both sweet, sweet dogs, but i personally prefer toy poodles (I have 2 toy poodles and 2 yorkies) They seem to bond better with me.
