  1. Honda Civic is best on mileage, easily available spares and better resale.

  2. Toyota Corolla is the best on gas, but numb on steering.

The Honda Civic would be your best option.

I have a 2006 Accord and it averages around 22 MPG.

A Civic should average around 25 MPG.

  3. Compare apples to apples the Accord is in a higher and bigger class.

    Check out the Hyundai Sonata.

More room.  Better gas mileage and better guarantee.

  4. they are probably close to the same expically the corolla and civic---the accord does ok also but is the most expensive  of the three

  5. the corolla

gets 32 mpg overall with the 1.8-liter, the best for a current non-hybrid four-door sedan.

  6. There is no competition between Toyota and Honda. Toyota is 100% better than Honda. Hondas are very ugly, unreliable, and have no key slot in the trunk. They are also very bad on gas, and burn a lot of oil. You're much better off buying a Toyota Corolla.

  7. I have used Toyota Corolla and found it better than the other two brand of honda civic and Accord any way accord is a heavier car in comparsion with the toyota corolla and honda civic. so for sure thats already out of the question.

Toyota Corolla which i have used more than 5 years with milage now 325000 km/ trust me still the fuel average is remarkable . Thats my expireance.
