Toyota Sewing machine I can not get the lower thread to pick?

The bottom bobbin thread does not seem to be getting caught up as the needle comes down

  1. Sure the bobbin is in the right way round??


  2. Try to look into the user's Manuel that comes with the machine. I think it must be incorrectly threaded somewhere. Is the bobbin correctly inserted.  You can look up or trouble shoot by calling Toyota Customer Service line and tell them your problem.

  3. Drag out the manual and thread again from scratch, paying particular attention to getting the bobbin in the bobbin case in the right direction, the thread out of the bobbin case so it pulls freely, the bobbin case in the machine properly, and the needle turned to face the right way.  If it still won't fetch the bobbin thread up properly, try a new needle, again being careful to make sure the needle is correctly oriented and inserted fully.
