Toyota Stock Audio systems?

Question

Who makes the speakers for Toyota that DO NOT say JBL on them? The guy at the dealer said all Camrys have a JBL system, but I don't know if he was mistaken or not. Is the system on the less expensive models like the LE just a cheaper "unbranded" JBL system? The system that says JBL with the 8 speakers is phenomenal, but the base stereo with 6 speakers is way above average.

toyota and jbl  have like a partnership just like gm and bose, or dodge and clarion. typically the more premium systems have a externally mounted amplifier. wher the base models dont. if your planning on ever putting an aftermarket stereo in the car do not get the jbl system. its alot more money to make it work. there are interface parts needed that cost up to 4 times more. but if you want to keep it factory than the jbl system will give you more power and a better sound

Most likely they are made by Delco.  Delco makes alot of the stereo equipment for standard cars.
