Question:

Toyota camry or nissan maxima?

i m buying a car tommorow and i got two choices one is 96 maxima(automatic) with 67000k miles on it and one is 96 toyota camry(stick shift) with 135000k miles on it but the price difference is near about $1200 so what do you think which will give me the better reselling value after a year.

  3. Well, it will depend how many miles you put on your car in the next year. If you rack up the miles, then the Maxima would be easier to sell. Both will give you a decent return. The Maxima will be much more fun to drive and have more power. Why not buy the Maxima and keep it 3 years, then sell it. But I do wonder if the Maxima doesn't really have 167,000 miles. Check the previous owners with the VIN thru Carfax to verify the total miles. If it turns out to be 167,000 miles, then the Camry will sell easier and have a little less depreciation too.
