Toysrus yu-gi-oh tournaments??

Question

what ever happend to the yu-gi-oh tournaments, i used to go all the time and i got this obelisk patch for placing 1st at a tournament. They told me that i qualified for other tournament, but they like cancelled them.

I remember those Tournaments. You must have also got an Ojama Token Card just for being there. There was only 3 of them it was called "Toys'R'Us Throwdown". The dates were  Saturday - April 07, 2007, Saturday - June 02, 2007, Saturday - September 08, 2007.

Yugioh is not that popular with kids anymore so Toys'R'Us wont be having anymore tournaments. Most hardcore yugioh players are adults like myself because the game is pretty complex. If you wish to compete in real tournaments click here http://entertainment.upperdeck.com/yugio...

they might be having some difficulties or maybe had an accident or something i wish i could go there so i could participate, congratulation for the obelisk patch.
