  1. CONTRACT.!

i used to have a tracfone and there is so much you CANT do and youre paying out the nose for something that you could get for so much less.

  2. if you use your phone alot get a contract but if you are using very few minutes then go with the tracphone

  3. Get Net10. It's owned by the same company as Tracfone, except it's a lot cheaper.

I've had it for more than 2 years now, and I was really happy with it. The only reason I left it is because I need tons of minutes now, so I went with Alltel because they let you change your plan without extending your contract.

I'm totally against contracts, so if you're like me, you'll either want to go with Net10 if you're going pre-paid, or Alltel if your'e going contract. Maybe even T-Mobile. Just avoid Verizon Wireless at all costs, because they are the devil.

Net10 = 10 cents a minute, from anywhere, to anywhere, no extra roaming charges or anything. I had the blue clamshell motorola from them and it lasted my entire stay with the company without breaking. That's pretty good for a cellphone from any company.

Alltel = i've only had them for about a month, but i've done extensive research and they really seem to be the best out there.

Contracts are better if you talk a whole lot or need reliability, and non-contracts are better if you don't want to pay cancellation fees (for alltel it's 200 bucks) or for if you just need a phone at that very moment, but haven't made up your mind about what is the best plan for you, or haven't found a plan to your standard yet.

My best recommendation is for you to get Net10 for now, then do extensive research about what is the best kind of plan for you. Then when you find one, you can decide if you want to switch over. But for now, non-contract is the best idea, because it leaves your possibilities open while you find something.

  5. IF TRACFONE WORKS USE IT AS LONG AS YOU CAN CALL ON IT NOTHING ELSE MATTERS WHY PAY FOR A CNTRACT WHEN YOU DON'T HAVE TO. USE UR NOODLES......

  6. i use a tracphone and its really nice. theres no overage fees or anything like that. but if you talk a lot it can get pricy unless you get the 500 minute stuff then its a really good deal.
