Tracing device for drawing artists ?

Question

umm.. what's the name of the device that artists use to trace a clean copy over their rough sketches?

I remember in my high school art class, my teacher had a machine where you put the sketch onto it, then place another sheet of paper over it. Then the machine lights up, and it makes it a lot easier to trace the drawing. Does anyone know the name of that machine/device?
