  1. Breathing pattern for help: In-out-out, In-out-out... you should concentrate on your breathing it actually helps. In-out-out, a pattern. But the outs shouldn't be full, more life partially breathing out.

That is a good time, you should try out! Plus, when you start track you will see your times drastically improve. You have a good base though.

  2. as a freshman set a goal as getting to as close to 5 mins as possible. most freshman and sophmores(good ones) get under 5 mins and good varsity kids. 4 30 and under

  3. its a good time, but not great for long distance you wont be coming in first place, maybe second or third in a track meet

    good time is about 5:30-6:00

    your almost there

  4. run track!

you may need to improve a bit but im sure you'll be able to.

DO IT DO IT DO IT!

  5. k well it sounds like you have the potential to run track but you need to get better. you wanna aim for the low 5 minute range to be a good long distance runner. but remember you got two years of running junior varsity so if you can't get that this year don't worry about it. just keep pushing and at your sophomore year you'll be doing great.
