Question:

Track and cross country?

i was on track team before the season ended and i did the 100m-hurdles, 200m, 400m-hurdles im indeed a true sprinter,but my endurance level is low....should i be on the cross country team to gain endurance or should i play volleyball to stay active?

  1. get cross country. my brother ran track and the fastest was 1:04. my brother can also do the high school hurdles. i ran cross country. 4 miles. i got it in 30 min hard work. youn get endurence. you should do it . it great


  2. I did all those events and ran cross country, but my time went down. I'd play sports that require endurance and alot of explosions of speed, that's why I played soccer. Stick with volleyball, if you are a true sprinter you won't need much endurance.

    If you would like to add a boost run 400s and take a 30-45 second break in between until you get tired. Then do a few more.

  3. If I were you, I would join the CC team. It may be hard work, but it's so much fun. I'd bet that you would get a lot faster for track in the spring. It will raise your endurance, and you'll stay active (probably a bit more than v-ball).
