Shot-put

Discuss

herdals(sp?)

Javelin throw

long jump

triple jump

etc

Sprints (sprinter) = Track race 100m, 300m, 500, 800m, etc

lol an yes short girls can compete, infact some of the fastest sprinters can be short people.

Track and field is the same as athletics. So anything that is held in the stadium is usually track and field. All the running, jumping and throwing events are track and field events.
