What food, drinks and other stuff should I pack? I'm running the 800 and 200 (might not do 200 because of recently sprained ankle) and shot put and long jump (again, may not do long jump)

  1. Stay away from pop, caffeine dehydrates your body, and the sugar will leave you feeling tired.

I would suggest eating a small meal of "good food" or a protein bar about 1 1/2 hours before you run.

Most experts say it takes 2 days to completely hydrate your body.

    Good luck!

  2. Start with either a 5 hour energy shot or a "Stress" Multi-B Vitamin Suppliment.

B Vitamins help with energy and stress... You will need lots of energy and a compitition causes a lot of stress!

    Pasta with Chicken and Veggies...

    Carbs, Protine, and Vitamins...

    Good luck to you!!

  3. i would guess fruits and lots of rest

i also was in track and i did the mile run high jump

so u get tired and also drink water if it is hot

    GOOD LUCK

  4. haha i have a track meet tomarrow too! i would suggest gatorade, snack bars, a blanket, a pillow, sweatpants, and maybe some flip flops

  5. fruit to eat honey for energy in the morinng aww good luck hun i hope you do good good luck agian and star oh ya and sleep alot

  6. drink plenty of water during the day and DONT drink soda. Soda can really make a difference when your running.(you get tired faster)

  7. york?

  8. you should stay away from milk the day of the meet because it will get heavy in your stomach. the night before you shold go on a carb load with lots of protein. you should do the same in the morning. make sure you stay hidrated, you may also want to drink an eltroylite drink or a watered down gaterade. don't drink to much right before your race or you might get a cramp.

    good luck!
