Track people. How do you make your feet move faster running and jumping?

Has anybody taken track? What training methods help you improve that. My leg muscles are slow.

  1. leg drills

    High Knees

    Jog (30-50 feet)

    Arms straight and open palms.

    Run more and dont hurt your self

    Stretch  


  2. Try increasing your flexibility.  When you're muscles are tight, they aren't able to have a full motion.  Also, try strengthening/toning them.  Do squats, lunges, etc.  If you want to be a good sprinter, do plenty of calf exercises too.

    When you run, pump you arms, chest up and think "smooth, glide, power."  The biggest mistake many runners have is to stay relaxed.  Don't clench your fists.  Keep you arms, hands and fingers relaxed.  If you want to see proper form, watch the olympic sprinters.

  3. move you arms faster... i dont know how but it makes you go faster and no fist make a straight hand

  4. weight training strengthen your legs and do sprinting reps
