Question:

Track scholorship?

im a sophomore bout to become a junior ive been running track for about 3 years now and my times are

50meter-7.1

100meter- 13.2

200meter- 28.6

300meter-44.6

400meter-75.2

ehh i know the 400s not that great i have to get up on that =]

p.s. what can i do to improve my times??

  1. you really shouldn't rely on getting any sort of track scholarship with your current times . . . your 100m time should be around 12.0 -12.3. . . your 200m time should be down around 24 . . . your 400m time should be well under 60 seconds to even be considered for a scholarship at a D1 school . . . as far as improving your times: try plyometrics, running hills, and weight lifting ~ all info is available on the internet and good luck . . .


  2. I'm not really good with short distance running but for the 400 probably the best thing to do would to be to run back to back 100s at 15 seconds a piece.
