I just bough a new blackberrt pearle and the trackball does not light up, how do you get it to light up?

  1. Settings->Screen/Keyboard->"Automaticall... dim backlight off"

    Should solve your problem.


  2. If La Nina's steps don't work, try a hard reset: remove the battery from the device (while the device is still powered on) for 30 seconds, then reinsert.
