I ran a anti spyware on my computer because i had pop ups saying to download a antivirus and then moved me to a web page. When I got rid of the tracking cookie and a trodgen it stoped what happned? Whats a tracking cookie?

This Popup wab about Antivirus 2009, to trick you into downloading their program. You must've went to a Trick website recently, because that website's COOKIE got into your computer. This cookie was Antivirus 2009. Once you deleted it, Antivirus 2009 stopped.

though i am not aware of what is a tracking cookie or the type of similar experience like you, i am shown a list full f tracking cookie that my avg anti virus had found when i run scan.my problem is to know whether i could delete these or move all to virus vault.if someone explains all about this i would be grateful to them and you.thanks ,
