Tracks across the median on the interstate?

While driving on the interstate, i often notice that about every half m ile, there are car tracks going across. They are not from a cop i dont think because they dont circle around. just go straight across at an angle. What are these from. Lost trucks? Construction? lol jw

Yes they are from cops. If they begin to loop around before getting back on the paved surface they have a chance of getting stuck or loosing control. So they usually shoot straight through and turn as soon as they reach the other side..only when traffic permits.

I bet you they're from a cop.  I've seen them go across at an angle.
