Trade Addai for M. Lynch, B. Jacobs, a 1st overall, and a 5th round?

Here's a preseason trade for y'all:

I'm in a keeper league (1 from the 1st 3 rounds and 2 from rounds 4 to 17) and will be planning to keep Randy Moss (3rd), Addai (5th), and Derek Anderson (17th). I was proposed this trade:

I give up: Joseph Addai

I get: Marshawn Lynch (2nd), Brandon Jacobs (12th), the 1st overall pick, and a 5th round pick.

I would then keep Moss (3rd), Jacobs (12th), and Anderson (17th) and drop Lynch to redraft with my 1st overall. Thus leaving me with picks in the 2nd round, 4th, 2 in the 5th, and all other rounds but the 12th and 17th.

I'm just curious about trading Addai who's coming off a good year (albeit it hurt for the latter part) for essentially Lynch and Jacobs. I also have WILLIS MCGAHEE, and was hoping to maybe use the overall top pick to get him back.

I guess then another question is WHO WOULD YOU DRAFT #1 OVERALL?

Thanks guys!

  1. I am not a fan of Addai at all and with Rhodes back, that makes me even less happy about Addai.

The thing I don't like about this deal is 1), you're losing the best player in the trade. And 2, the first overall pick doesn't mean c**p really because you have to use it to "keep" lynch.

That sad, I would still do the trade because that means you have a very solid RB corps and Jacobs in the 12th round is a tremendous value.

I would take Lynch over McGahee in the redraft. Younger, more upside.

Lastly, I would take LT first overall because he has been so so so consistent over his career. Peterson still doesn't have a passing game and he is injury prone. You want the safer pick with your first rounder, especially number 1 overall and then go for the high upside guys later. Take Tomlinson.
