Question:

Trade Advice: Wes Welker and Ricky Williams for Edgerrin James and Laveranues Coles?

Which end of this deal would you want to be on?

12 man league, we start 3 WR's and 2 RB's, standard Yahoo! scoring.

Welker is my third WR after Fitzgerald and Colston. Coles would become my third starter, as my bench consists of DJ Hackett and Devon Hester.

Ricky Williams is obviously a bench player, but I'm not sure whether or not James would be worth starting over Addai (obviously a starter) LenDale White and Matt Forte and Felix Jones...my other RB's.

Does this trade improve my team or hurt it?

  1. The guy you're trading with won't accept the James/Williams part.

  2. I wouldn't do the trade, your bench RBs are better than James and Coles is to inconsistent with two QBs that are horrible throwing to him. Wait and see how well Williams does, if he performs at a high caliber trade him. You will be able to get allot out of him since many people know how good he can be and Williams is a high injury risk toward mid season.

  3. Truly, I wouldn't want EITHER.

Welker's season was, I think, a blip. I don't think He'll have ti again. Ricky williams? Are you kidding? He won't make it.

James is a head case and so is Coles.

It like trading Cancers. either way, you really want to cut them out quick

  4. I would do the trade...You don't know how many carries Williams is going to get this year and we know that James will still start in Arizona.  I don't think New England is going to put up as much points this year so who knows what Welker's numbers will look like.  You will get two guys that will get decent production. Its not like your giving up top starters, your just giving yourself a strong bench.  Good Luck!

  5. Welker will get as many fantasy points as Edgerrin James and Coles combined
