Trade Brian Westbrook?

Question

Would you trade Brian Westbrook straight up for Steven Jackson? Westbrook carried my team last season but he's getting up there in age. Do you think it's a good time to sell high and get a younger keeper? Jackson should be a top 5 talent for the next 4-5 years if he stays healthy. I will miss all the receiving yards but maybe Al Saunders and a healthy QB can help Jackson regain his 2006 form.

What is n!ck saying, Westbrook has been hurt for 5 games in his 6-year career, s-Jax has been hurt a lot in his 4-year career, plus i beleive Westbrook is better than Adrian Peterson even, so KEEP WESTBROOK HES A STUD

westbrooke is very prone to injury.. but theres no doubt that he is one of ( if not the) strongest players on the team... hmm.. i say keep him for now to see if you can get a better deal out of him

yes take steven jackson he should have a big year especially since he'll have something to prove because any day now his holdout will end and he'll have to play as good as he's about to get paid

Ironically,  I am doing exactly what your are proposing.  I am going to try to trade Westbrook for Jackson.  You will be VERY satisfied if you do the deal.

no keep westbrook he is with the better team which will make him better plus jackson just got off of an injury year and had surgery, rb's most of the time don't come back well afer surgery, wesbrook is more versatile he may be getting old but he hasn't gotten hurt in the past couple of years and will produce more consistent numbers than jackson

Normally I would make the trade because Steven is less likely to get hurt. But Steven Jackson's hold out is becoming a big issue. I wouldn't gamble with it. He might sit out some games.

So just keep Brian for now.
