An owner in my league is offering up his hitters for a pitcher and Wright is one of them. I am pretty stacked in pitching and was thinking of offering him Volquez. I have seen a few wright for volquez one-for-ones in other leagues, but am looking for opinions? Can I get more for Volquez?

  1. Yes, If you dont feel the need for pitching and you need a very consistant and reliable player with David Wright make the trade.  Wright is a 30 hr, 100 rbi , .300 ba a year bat

  2. ?!?  What makes you think you can get David Wright for Volquez?  Are you mental?!?  No you can't get more for Volquez.  In fact you'll get much less for him.  Is this a serious question ?

  3. if you can spare the pitching, this trade seems pretty reasonable to me. you might be able to get a little more, but volquez has been struggling lately. remember, wright was probably a top 5ish pick in your league...you won't be getting a-rod most likely, so if you're looking for a 3b, i think you should take this.

  4. If you are stacked with SP and need a good bat i would definitely pull the trigger.

Remember Volquez plays for the Reds and that alone could spell second half disaster for him. I would take Wright and trade Volquez.

I just realized on my team i have them both. No wonder i am 17 games in front of 2nd

  5. Get Wright if yu can, cross your fingers.

  6. if you can then do it i dont think he will but why not if your stacked then trade

  7. if u can get it, do it. dont know if he will accept it though.
