  1. If you need saves, Papelbon is as consistent as you are going to get. I keep thinking that Jose can't keep it up but there are no guarantees. If I was comfortable with my bats and needed saves to compete, I would certainly do this trade.

    Good luck. Have fun.

  2. If the other person accepts it, then its one of the most lopsided trades I've ever seen IN YOUR FAVOR.

  3. Try it. Don't know if it will actually go through.

  4. haha you must have talked the other person into that.....that def would be veto'd in my league Ive had papelbon for 2 years now and he's nothing short of brilliant....Ironically I picked up guillen right when he started getting hot and he's been doing well too...but year If it can go through I would def rather have pap then guillen....you can always find an outfielder....its hard to find that dominant closer

  5. yes do it

  6. Jose Guillen is a streaky inconsistent hitter who is just on a tear right now. He is also not as proven as Papelbon. Papelbon is on one of the best, if not the best, team in baseball and has the talent that helps him stay as the closer. if you are in need of saves then definitely go for it. I don't think your batting will suffer that much without guillen anyway.
