Trade-in values have changed dramatically over the past two years as the new car market is continuing to shrink.  The traditional online sites are no longer accurate.  Dealers are only offering what they can get at auction for your car.  Here's a website and forum where salesman and sales managers help determine the value of your car.  These folks spend 3-4 days buying and selling cars at auction and have access to what cars are going for nationwide.

    The website is free but you must sign up.  Just follow the directions at the bottom of the page on what information is needed.
