Trade: Johan Santana for Melky Cabrera and Fausto Carmona?

Fantasy Baseball in a head to head league. im in 7th place out of 8 teams, and this could turn my season around...is it worth it? i need good advice! I get Santana, and give away Melky and Fausto! Good trade for me or bad?

Let's look at it this way. Carmona's on the DL and he has walked 15 more batters than he has struck out this season. Melky has rarely produced lately, and I have no idea why he was on your team to start with (probably the reason why you're 7th). Santana is 3rd in the NL in strikeouts, 5th in the NL in era, 6th in the NL in innings pitched, and has won two Cy Youngs. Good trade for you, and the other person must be out of their mind.

THis year yes, but melky and fausto have big breakout potential. If its a keeper league and you have long term goals, id say no. A single season league, DO IT
