  1. They are both very good starters .Neither of them are on particularly strong teams. Peavy was on the DL earlier this year but i still give him the edge over Halladay.

  2. I think Peavy.  He is in a weaker division and playing with a little better team.  He has a better chance for wins than Halladay.  He will always get his strikeouts too.  I would take either on my fantasy team though.

  3. Peavy is good, but Halladay is just as good.  Halladay pitched a great game last night.  He is a must keep.

  4. Both are good.

Do not trade Halladay because he is more durable, gets significantly better offense than the Padres (who have an awful lineup and are forced to bat in the most difficult to hit ballpark in either league) and odds-predict he, Halladay, will get more wins, and his ERA and WHIP help will be more significant because he pitches more complete games and innings than any other pitcher in baseball.

Peavy is very, very good too, but *Keep Halladay*

  5. I'd take Peavy. Neither of these have been aces this year, but, Peavy is a better pitcher than Halladay

  6. Both pitchers are brilliant, but i would take peavy over halladay due to the fact the peavy has the potential of more strikeouts and lower ERA and that he was last yrs CY winner
