Trade: Shane Victorino for Jorge Cantu and Chase Headly?

Question

I need HRs/RBIs bad. Been offered Jorge Cantu and Chase Headly for Shane Victorino. That a good trade? I would lose my only source of regular steals but i might get back two big bats. Or am I trading a star for two iffy guys?

If you need homeruns/rbi's take the trade Cantu is on fire right now and Headley is one of the top prospects for the padres

Victorino is a streaky hitter who doesn't have a lot of pop.  He can easily be replaced via FA, assuming you don't already have an OF on your bench.

Cantu is hot and you can ride Headly until he stumbles, if he does at all.

You're out of your mind.. to trade the Phils' run producer for 2 bums.. even if Cantu has a good June that is in the past. Headly's a horror. It's a recipe for losing. Take a player that's rated as high, or keep him.

If you're this crazy for a middling 3B, go get Inge or Boucher/Minn or Oakland's 3B off the free agent scrap heap -- he's better than either of the garbage you're being offered. (and that other manager's laughing at you, for considering it)
