Trade in Europe and the Future...OPINIONS?

What will trade look like in Europe in one generation? Will there be only one superpower in the world? How will global wealth and power change?

Europe will probably still be a strong contender.  They will probably continue to be major consumers and exporters.  For example, Germany focuses on quality, even if it means higher costs.  That's a sound strategy because it's complementary to China's.  Europe is ahead of us in alternative energy, transportation, and certain technologies.  Their main problem, however, is their population decline.

There will more than likely be more than one superpower.  China definitely, barring some sort of major change on their part, the US, if we can fix our energy problem, EU, most likely, and India, perhaps, if they can fix their poverty problems.  Russia has great potential, but they also have a lot of problems that they need to fix.
