  1. It is not possible to transfer pokemon from crystal to any GBA or DS pokemon game. There are other ways to get some of the crystal pokemon. In order to get them, you need to beat the game and get the national dex. One of the three legendary dogs can be caught in fire red and leaf green depending on which starter you choose. Celebii can be caught by going to the bottom of the unown chamber, looking at the writing on the wall, and encountering 100 pokemon. Ho-oh and Lugia can be recieved through nintendo events for the GBA games. Other pokemon like gligar can be encountered in the wild only when a specific GBA games is inserted in the bottom game slot. Here are a couple of links to a pokedex that tells you how to get each pokemon.

  2. ok you can trade the crystal pokemon to ds but it says "after you migrate pokemon from it they can be migrated back" i dont know if this is right but its worth a shot i guess

  3. Yeah, all the Pokemon from Cystal are catchable, but you can't trade them from Cyrstal... I know it sucks right? There's other ways of gettting them, like in Pokemon Colleseum, Firered, Leafgreen and Gale of Darkness, but no, you can't trade from Crystal... the reason why? The way the gameboy advance and gameboy trade is diffrent. The gameboy advance always sends and receives pokemon at the same time, while the gameboy color does not and so they aren't compatible. Also the Pokemon's Ivs and Evs are diffrent. Sorry, but you cant.

  4. you can not trade pokemon from pokemon crystal to ruby because game freak said something about wire signals not compatible. so you can't trade from pokemon crystal to ruby. but, you can get johto pokemon in pokemon firered and leaf green by going to the sevii islands and get the three legendary dogs like entei, suicune, and raikou. so in pokemon GBA games, its possible to get Johto pokemon.

  5. From what I can guess you wan't to transfer pokemon to Pearl from the old GB crystal. You can't. When they made ruby and sapphire the coding for the pokemon was different, and IV (independent values) of the pokemon themselves differed in the game coding, they are incompatable. The reason why you can migrate 3rd gen games to D/P is due to 3 things: The IV's remained the same and so did the coding for the pokemon themselves, DS has dual compatability, and people were PISSED OFF back in 2003 when R/S were released and they found this out and they didn't want to p**s them off again for the same c**p.

You can actually catch almost every pokemon in D/P save the earlier legendaries, starters and some others. That's what the Poke'radar is for so you can find them, but it cannot be used for that until after you get the national poke'dex. If you insert GBA games you can get pokemon you can't normally get. You can get johto pokemon in fire red/leaf green and pokemon colluseum and XD: Gale of darkness which can be traded to a 3rd gen and then transfered.

If you wan't somthing that bad just ask me I bet I can get it easy, after all my pokedex is at 490 (Yes I do have legit darkrai, jirachi, celebii, deoxys, mew, Ho-oh and Lugia).
