Does anyone know where (or if there even are any places) that I can trade in old (but like new) clothes for $$$??

I know they have some places in the U.S. but just wondering if there are any in Canada (Ontario)

  1. ebay.com

I use to give my clothes to purple heart, but I found out 90% of the clothes are just sold at good will stores and thrift shops. The key to selling old clothes on ebay (assuming they aren't ripped or destroyed) is that you sell them per item, not altogether. Also you are almost guaranteed someone will buy it if it's an auction, and if it starts at a low price.

Also local shops may buy them, but not for as much. Probaly ten cent per item.

  2. Use any of your local search engines (Google, cityseach, local phonebook online, etc) and look for "CONSIGNMENT "stores/shops/etc, or "CASH FOR CLOTHES" or "SECONDHAND CLOTHING".

They're all over, you should be able to find one near you.

As an example, try looking at Buffalo Exchange, Goodwill, or Salvation Army online, to get an idea.

    Good luck!

  3. There are second-hand clothing stores that take items on consignment. I would ask in your neighbourhood. Older items can be taken to some Value Village locations where they'll give you credit toward purchases.
