Traditional Jewish Cuisine?

I am hosting a bridal shower and my sister's fiance is Jewish. I was interested in having some side dishes or maybe a dessert that honors his side of the family's heritage as well. What are some dishes that are a staple in Jewish culture...you know besides matzo ball soup :)...

  1. they eat a lot of stuffed cabbage and steak and i heard fish. But if its durring passover don't put out bread in front of them
