Traffic Lights too bright at night?

Do other people find that the new traffic lights that are made up of bright L.E.D.S to bright to look at night.

when looking at the lights at night time, from A red light to a green, the green is that intense it puts a green image in your sight when taking off from the lights, creating a blind spot temp

spot.

  1. They are great , just don't stare at it.


  2. You shouldn't be staring at the traffic lights anyway. You should be scanning around for hazards while you wait for the light to turn green. Your scanning will pick up the fresh green light.

    If you are having trouble with night vision (talk to your optometrist), then perhaps you might want to consider driving less during nighttime hours. This loss of nightvision occurs in people younger than you might think.

  5. No I think they're great. You must be getting old, my elderly neighbour complains of the same thing.

    I don't think old people should be driving at night anyway.

  6. all the new ones are they started doing that about 5 years ago alot of people that crashed at night would say they could not distinguish them and they also last alot longer
