If I get a speeding ticket out of state do I have to pay it? Most likely, I will never return to the state of Louisiana so I don't have to worry about that. Also, the ticket was mailed to my home address...it was from a speed camera.

  1. You better pay it.  They may send a collection agency.  Or even put a warrant out for you.  If you get pulled over in your own state with a warrant from another state, they may arrest you for that!  Pay it!

  2. I would pay it  xox

  3. Yes you have to pay it. If you do not pay, you will not be able to renew your license in the future. The DMV can also cancel the registration on your car.

You can fight the ticket, but speed cameras are hard to beat.

I did not pay a ticket I got in Arizona and now, 13 years later I owe $800 (due to penalties) and my license was suspended. It was a $140 ticket for turning left out of a right turn only lot.

  4. Yes, you do.

  5. Yes.  If you dont pay it, your going to end up getting additional charges, plus a possible bench warrant.

  6. I would pay it because they will find you and if they are interested enough will put out a warrant out for your arrest so if you get your plates ran where you live, they can bring you into jail and then you'll have bigger problems
