Traffic on the north circular this afternoon.. how mad was that?!?

yeah yeah, olympic torch malarkey, some semi final match at wembley- but the north circular was a joke! it toke 38mins to drive 1.1 miles heading towards the m1 (brent cross)..a lot of beeping going on.. round abouts were chocker.. surely the traffic wasn't due ONLY to those two events.. or was it?!

i heard on radio that a water main burst somewher around that area, i usually avoid it by going from M40 then M25 then M1 south and come out on A1 it's not too bad after that . I use that way 5 days a week

That was crazy! tailbacks for a long way! its ridiculous.

I noticed the sheep were blocked the gate to the top field this morning, i had to shout at then to get the tractor through at 7AM

They held me up for 10 seconds

That's about the size of it, yeah.

The N. Circ is sh*t  75% of the time anyway. its only worth going on if its after midnight and before 5.30 am.
