  1. Question #1. Illegal

    Question #2. Illegal

    Question #3. Illegal

    and Question #4 Illegal

  2. 1. Yes, of course you have to yield and such

    2. Well in case of emergency or road construction you can cross them.

    3. No, I believe you have to have like 1000 ft of view before you can make a legal u-turn.

    4. It depends but generally yes.

  3. 1.  if lane is marked for right turn only

    2.  no

    3.  not in the middle of a block and never across double line but doing so from turn lane is OK if traffic allows it

  4. They are all illegal.

  5. I'm in Texas.

    1) No. You can only make a right on red from the far right lane. I see people make rights on red from the 2nd lane all the time tho.

    2) No. ..but people do it anyway, especially at entrance/exit ramps at freeways.

    3) No. As a general rule, all U-turns are illegal. The only exception is lower roads that have a physical median rather than a stripe. On these streets you can legally make a U-turn if all of the following conditions are true...

    * There are no "No U-turn" signs posted AND no signal lights or stop signs.

    * You can complete the U-turn WITHOUT putting your vehicle in reverse. Putting your vehicle in reverse on a public roadway is illegal unless you are backing out of a parking space or driveway ajoining the road or intending to parallel park.

    4) No. Left turns must always obey the red light, even with one-way streets.

...just thought I would throw this one in.

Also illegal to drive through a gas station or parking lot to skip a light.

  6. 1. That is legal as long as the sign is posted and we have those in my state.

    2. That would always be illegal.

    3. That would be illegal.

    4. That would be illegal.

  7. 1.  There are normally signs allowing this but if there isn't, as long as you yield to oncoming traffic and turn safely you should be good to go.

    2.  The solid or broken yellow lines down the center of the roadways are a guide only, a suggestion.  As long as you do it safely you can cross the lines.  Now, if you have an accident while doing so then you can count on a charge/fine.

    3.  Unless it's prohibited, you can do it as long as you do it safely.  If, again, you are in an accident while doing it then you are on the hook for a charge/fine.

Now, with all that being said, the local traffic laws in your county/state may vary so follow this advice at your own peril.
