i had my tragus pierced about 5 months ago with a barbell and i've just bought a ring to go in it. i took the ball out and the hoop went in okay but i cant seem to get the ball to click back into the hoop...its like the gap isnt big enough for it to fit in. if i cant do it myself im going to have to go back to where i had it done so they can put it in but i dont want to have to get them to do it each time i want to change it.....any suggestions how ic an get it in? thanks XXXXOXO

  1. I just had the same problem this morning. If you can get someone else to help you. What I did was widen the opening with some thin pliers and then put the ball in loosely, once the ball was in I could squeeze it a bit tighter.

  2. you should read the specifics.. for my question i did specify that they smelt differently. sorry but if you dont know, dont answer.

  3. You can buy ring opening pliers online or just use some regular pliers with plumbing tape wrapped round the ends if your dad has some. Be careful when opening the ring because you don't want to open it too far.

Here's some links to opening pliers.
