Tragus or rook piercing?

I have both done....overall I find the pain from piercing a bit of a rush, so the pain I can tolerate ok.

Its the healing time that is the worst...

my tragus got infected about 4 times, but there was no way I was taking it out!!!  It took about 6 weeks before the "dull" ache went away. ( and a word of advice...get it done in the ear you dont normally sleep as much on!! )

I had my rook done about 3 and a half weeks ago.  I found that the clamp was worse than the actual procedure....this piercing was also a slower process than the tragus as well, as there is more cartilage to go through.  So far, no infections, and I am pain free.

I love them both...you should go for it!!  ( the tragus is my fave - i have a cute diamond stud in it )

Pain is different for everyone...and I promise you, it is SUPER quick!

i don't have my tragus done but i'm looking to get it this week, although i do have my rook. and it may look like it hurts but the pain is very minimal. a quick pinch and it's done. then again it is different for everybody.

rook hurts way more, i got them done both at the same time, one in each ear though, the tragus is over real quick and does't hurt even when the jewelry gets put in, but the tragus hurts while the needle is still in there.

i got my tragus about a year ago. its my favorite pericing because i have a small diamond in it!

when i got my tragus pierced i didn't even know they periced it!!

they put on a clamp so you cant really feel it.

it was swollen for a few weeks but i took the ugly ring out after about 2 weeks. (not recommended!) its super cute, and didnt hurt me at all.

my friend on the other hand bled like a stuck pick, passed out and started crying. everyone different.
