  1. Dial soap is fine.  Another aftercare method is a sea salt solution.  Dissolve 1/4 tsp of sea salt in an 8 oz glass of warm water.

edit: Don't use alcohol, peroxide, neosporin, etc.  Why would you use something intended for minor scrapes and abrasions on a puncture wound?  Most piercers are going to advise you not to use any of those things.

  2. I really don't trust using soap.  I personally think it's too harsh and my piercer agrees with me.  I do sea salt soaks.  Soak two cotton balls in warm/hot salt water (3/4 cup of hot water, 1/8-1/4 table spoon of salt) and put one behind your tragus and the other in front of it for about 3-5 minutes.  Be sure to keep this up as it heals!  Tragus piercings are notorious for being difficult.  My cartlidge rejected mine even though I took good care of it so good luck to ya!

  3. just use salt water.  its the best thing to make it heal.  soap isn't really that great for piercings.

  4. Rubbing alcohol is commonly used. That is what I used for my rook and industrial.

Also use any thing that you would use on a small cut like topical treatment.
