Trail Blazers The Future of the league?

Question

In a couple years, the Blazers are really gonna be scary. There possible starting lineup this year could be:

PG Jerryd Bayless

SG Brandon Roy

SF Travis Outlaw

PF Lamarcus Aldridge

C Bigg Greg Oden

That lineup, when Oden gets healthy, will be scary. Not one player is over the age of 23. Bayless is the truth. And although he is a rookie, he has the total package. I'm a Laker fan, but I have to admit that Portland will be scary.Your thoughts?

yea, i huess. they have a young powerful team and they r talented. in 5 years,  they can win mutliple championship, if none gets injured or losed in FA

I definitely agree with you. Oden, Roy, Aldridge, and Bayless. That's pretty scary in a couple of years. They'll obtain even greater team chemistry and of course get better themselves. Portland also had a great winning streak earlier in the season. With Oden downlow, he's gonna alter shots and block shots. With Roy, Aldridge, and Bayless you'll get a lot of offensive produciton. Oden wil lalso be another huge factor. He is quick and strong. I don't think Oden is overrated as he is, but he's a monster.  Plus, Portland has a young bench. Another team of the future would be the Sonics, they've had like 2 draft picks in a row (2007 and 2008). Get the Sonics a decent, young center and they would be up there.

I agree.  I was just checking out their NBA page today.  I also saw the highlights from the Blazers last summer league game, where Bayless went nuts.

I put 5 bucks on them to win the NBA championship when I was in Vegas last week.  If they win I get 150.  :)

certainly looks that way. of course nobody can predict the future. everyone looks good in summer league, as far as im concerned, bayless hasnt proved anything yet and neither has oden for that matter. for all we know roy and oden could have injury plagued careers like grant hill did. obviously they need some luck and to stay healthy. but if oden lives up to the hype then yes this team should be a future dynasty.
