Trailblazer?

my wife Sharon just got a big pay raise at her job she wants to buy a Trailblazer the only thing stoping her is that she is only 5ft3 and she thinks she is to short for such a big car but i dont think i so i think she would have no trouble at all driving it she really like how they look what do you think

  1. That's pretty short and it's not just seeing out the front over the steering wheel.  At that height, she may have trouble seeing over her shoulder and knowing where the corners of the truck are when parking.  The only way to know for sure is to just go out and test drive one.  She also needs to know that a bigger vehicle is not safer.  Many small people think so and like them but her chances of being thrown around in the vehicle in an accident are good.  Most seat belts and airbag systems in a big vehicle are not designed for such a small person.


  2. Test drive one that has at least a six way power adjustable driver seat, this way it will have a heght adjustment of about 6 inches of lift. As for safty, its all good, the new seat belt systems are able to conform to a drivers height with adjustable seatbelt mounts, as well as the new seat belts with the pretentioners and load limiters that in the case of a collision a small pyro charge detonates and actually causes the seat belt to tighten instead of just lock so the occupant is going to have next to no movement. Its a good safe vehicle. I would recommend looking at it.
