Trailer pricing question on a used slant load sundowner?

We are looking @ this trailer but wondering, is 8,800$ a resonable price? what do you think a good offer price would be on this trailer? Any other thoughs on it would be appreciated too!! thanks!

Axles are critical. Hubs are critical. make sure the electrics

are good on the trailer. Price is high. Wouldn't offer more

than 4500.00 There are newer trailers for less money that

are in as good of condition as this one. This is an 8 year

old trailer. Do some more shopping.

The trailer looks to be in great shape. I assume that you are looking for Aluminum because of weight. It is a good choice. Not only the gas factor but the rust factor over a steel trailer. I think that Sundowner trailers tend to hold their value. I would guess that this trailer new would be about $12K. Since it is in great shape and doesn't look like an 8year old trailer means that someone took good care of it and that is another plus. Make sure you have a current inspection sticker on it and check tire pressure and ALL things that hinge...Windows are a big deal to replace.

However, if you have a 3/4 ton vehicle or larger, why aren't you looking for a gooseneck? They pull so much better and are a dream to park. You also tend to get more for the money.

We bought our 4 Star 4 horse with living quarters on here and got it for a GREAT price. EVEN though we had to pay shipping too!

Sounds way too pricey to me, but in your area it may not be. Shop around, Sundowners are good trailers but overpriced, especially the bumper pulls.

I think that that is a pretty good price for a sundowner, but not a good overall trailer price. You can go to equine.com and find a trailer WAY cheaper, and probably just as nice, if not nicer.

Looks like a good trailer to me definetly but i would only pay 7,500 for it though but thats where i live
