Train Platforms?

Question

I have to switch trains and theres only a 5 minute gap, iv never switched trains before and i wondered if there is anyway i can tell what platform my next train is on before i get there?

P.S im going from Chichester to littlehampton

You would have to change at Barnham, but it's possible that you would simply remain on the same platform (Platform 3) for your connection. You could check the live departures board http://www.livedepartureboards.co.uk/ldb... if you can access a computer within an hour before your arrival at Barnham. Or simply check these times at the same time of day as you intend to get there, but on a day prior to travel (as long as you're not travelling today).

you could always ring up the train service ur using, or the train station you are switching trains at, one or the other or both will give u the answer :)
