Travelling tomorrow and retruning tomorrow. a saver return is £66.40, an open return £238. Looking a month ahead to the 4 August there are singles available on some trains from Preston for £46.50 and returns from London on the 20.46 for £16.50. It is difficult to be more precise without knowing the date and time of your journey and when you are returning.

It depends when you want to travel and how much notice in advance. It also depends whether you want a return, open return, or whether going on a certain train is fine.
